Answers for General Questions:

Why do you not provide grants to students who want to study outside
of their home country?
As a general rule, we feel it’s best for a student to study in his/her home country. We don’t want to encourage people to leave their country, it usually costs less, and it helps them build a network.
When can I apply for funding?
We have several “intake periods” when we process a large number of applications at one time. The next opportunity to apply for a grant is 15 June – 31 July. There will be one later in the year.
How do I re-apply for a grant?
The process for re-applying is not that different from when you first applied. You will need to reactivate your online account by emailing admin@albertbakerfund.org and then fill out another online application. You need to provide the normal required documents except for a photo and an academic reference, plus you need to provide your grades from last term.
Who can I contact to get help applying?
The best person to contact is a Regional Vice-President (R.V.P.) in your city or country. You can also contact your Regional Representative. Their contact information is located on the “Contact Us” page.
What is the best way to communicate with ABF?
If your question was not answered in the FAQs, nor described in the instructions, please fill out the question form at the top of this page, or email us at: admin@albertbakerfund.org.
